Technical characteristics:
For high-powered ammunition(1200g/s)
This scope is tested to rigorous standards----recoil tested to 1200G/s /3000 times. The scope can be used on the powerful rifle(0.223-0.30-0.308-0.338 bullets).
Mil clicks system
Windage and elevation turrets with 0.1Mil clicks, providing an additional level of accuracy and ensures that the scope stays zeroed.
Etched Glass Reticle
Reticle etched on the glass that provides excellent backing support for complex reticle design and offers great durability and much higher shock resistance to recoil Fully Multicoated Fully Multicoated optics effectively reduces reflected light and increases the transmission of light giving you a brighter image than normal single coated lenses
Illuminated Reticle
The illuminated reticle provides greater visibility during dusk and dawn and other low ambient light environment.
Physical hard Coating
Physical hard Coating gives you an extra protection on the exterior lenses from dirt, oil and scratches or anything else mother nature can throw at you.
6061 T6 Aluminum
The 6061T6 aircraft grade aluminum tube that has exceptional strength and superior mechanical integrity will protect these world class optics no matter what punishment you throw at it.
Exposed Tactical Direct Dial
Exposed Direct Dial Turrets for elevation and windage allow you to quickly make adjustment as you needed and engage your target within a blink of your eyes
One Piece Tube
Construction Heat treated one piece tube gives the scope extra strength over multi-piece tubes. A one piece tube also is better at keeping moisture out thus keeping your scope fog proof for the life of the product
Waterproof
Waterproof to protect the scope in the harshest weather conditions or if accidently submerged underwater
Fog proof
Fog proof to allow you to immediately engage your target when you take your rifle to cold ambient temperature from warm inside Shockproof Robust mechanical system with special designs on both control and erector system that give you the ultimate recoil resistance to withstand 1000G recoil for 1000 times.
Nitrogen Purged
Nitrogen Purging uses the inertia gas with bigger size molecules to purge any moisture out of the tube giving you better waterproofing and thermal stability .
Technical Tip: About zoom ratio
zoom ratio:It refers to dividing the value of the highestmagnificationby the value of the lowestmagnification. The value obtained.
Higtest magnification / Lowest magnification = zoom ratio
ratio: 40 / 10 = 4
In recent years, more and more optics sights with high zoom ratio are used. It is generally believed that the larger zoom ratio, more different occasions the product can be used. But at the same time, riflescope costs will rise. Moreover, the higher zoom ratio at the high power, will get the lower the image quality, such as darkening and serious distortion.
The 10-40X56 uses the traditional 4 zoom ratio, so the image quality is very good. At the highest magnification, the brightness loss is still small.
The 10-40X56
uses a 34MM tube diameter, the objective lens diameter is 56MM, so provides a wider field of vision and greater brightness. It is one of optical sights for long-range shooting and hunting. It is very suitable for carrying outdoors.
All turrets provide steel gears with an accuracy of 0.1mils each click.
10-40x56riflescope, with a maximum magnification of 40x, is specially designed for long-range shooting or hunting.
It does not use "high-tech" high-zoom ratio technology, from 10x to 40x, the zoom ratio is only 4.
Before the official business article:
About 35MM main tube diameter:
Articles about optical sights are usually too commercial, not rigorous, or exaggerated, or not professional. As the store manager, as a shooter with decades of shooting experience, and an entrepreneur with his own optical sight factory, I would like to tell you about the advantages and disadvantages of large diameter.
After reading it, you can confirm whether you want to buy it or not.
The origin of 35MM & 34MM, what are they diffent?:
For a long time, most optical sight main tube are 30mm diameter.More than a decade ago, a German company first used 34MM diameter for rifle scope. Later, many optics company also produced big size diameter rifle scope, its diameter of the main tube is larger than Germany company , they are 35mm.
Because the German company's 34mm pipe diameter products are mostly used for military purposes. Although the diameter of other companies' products is larger, they can hardly compete with the German company in technology, so the 35mm optical sight can only occupy market share in the hunting market.
Over time, there is a conclusion in the market:
34mm, military standard.
35mm, civilian
For a long time, 30MM diameter has been considered adequate by most people. But why did an optical sight with a larger diameter than 30MM suddenly appear more than a decade ago?
Since the beginning of the war in Afghanistan in 2001, the military's demand for long-range shooting has increased dramatically. Previously, the Special Forces believed that 1000 meters was a long distance. The range of the sniper rifle is about 800 meters. But the war in Afghanistan changed everything. There are enemies in the distance of 1,000 meters, 1,500 meters or 2,000 meters or more.
At this time, the elevation adjusting mechanism inside the optical sight has problems. Because the diameter of the optical sight is only 30mm. Elevation adjusting range are generally only around 60 MOA. If you want to increase it more, theoretically speaking, you can only increase the rotation angle range of the "inner lens tube", but this will affect the quality of the image.
So the engineer changed the main diameter of the optical sight from 30 mm to 34 mm. Theoretically speaking: every time add 1.2 mm (turret rotating a circle), can increase 14 MOA.
When the main tube diameter increases from 30MM to 34MM, the elevtion adjusting range increases by 46MOA.
Thus, the whole elevtion adjusting range of of optical sight will be easily up to 100-120MOA. Previously, only about 40 MOA or 60 MOA were available.
Most optics merchants have a wrong point:
rdquo With the increase of main tube diameter, the "brightness" of the optical sight can be increased.
In fact, this statement is wrong. "Brightness" is only related to three factors:
A: The diameter of the objective lens.
B: The magnification.
C: It's related to Material of optical glass and Lens coating .
Interestingly: Some people says: if the diameter of the tube is thicker, the optical sights will be brighter, which is funny. Whether it is a 25.4MM sight, a 30MM sight, or a 34mm brightness, their "brightness" is the same.
The diameter of the main tube of the optical sighting lens has been increased, and there is nothing else but the adjustment stroke of the height and height has been increased.
If we have to find another advantage, that is: internal parts can be made more robust, so that the reliability of the product is better.
So what are the disadvantages of 35MM &34MM sight?
There are two shortcomings: 1. It's too heavy. 2. The price is slightly higher.
Please note:
In the product feedback, it shows that some buyers are not used to this product:
Here is list of one of a buyer:
"Scope seems well and studry made. The material quality in general is very good. However it is a shame that eye relief is so terrible! It's one of the worst eye relief distances I have ever seen on a scope!! a) it is a very short eye relief b) what is even worse, is, it is a very narrow window where you can look trough the scope. When you are too close, it is not working, when you are too far it is not working, when you are off little left or right it is not working - in all these cases you only see grey and no picture. You have to position your eye in a very narrow channel distance and left, right to be able to use it. Thus I can only give 3 stars ."
This scope, its eye relief is very longer, it is 97.5mm(40x) - 85mm(10x),But why do some shooter not adapt to it?
There are two reasons:
1. The 10-40X56, Its starting magnificatio is 10x,it.higher than almost normal products.
At high magnification, the field of vision is 11.5ft (2.9m), and at 40x, the field of vision is 2.9ft (0.9m)
So when the eyes deviate from the focus, it is easy to lose the picture.
2. Special filp caps brings "Tunnel effect".
This product uses a special flap, and the eyepiece shrinks to the inside of the eyepiece cylinder, as shown in the following figure:
